It's a Senior Party!
Do you get tired of being at home all the time? Has your older age kept you from feeling as spunky as you used to? We spoke with many seniors that said that a place for them to hang out would be exciting! Just because you're over 60 doesn't mean you can't still have a good time! Your kids and grandkids are out enjoying the night life, why shouldn't you? Our community needs a place for seniors to congregate for social activities. Some of our readers favorites are shuffleboard, bingo, poker, dominoes, and dancing if you can believe it! Why shouldn't you have the same opportunities that young folks do? It seems like the more time that passes, the more people disregard our elders and their wants. That's just not fair. We're all people out trying to have a good time so why don't we have a place for our seniors to hang out and piddle around. Just think of
how much happier everyone would be! The stereotypical old woman would be happy instead of bitter all the time because she'd be out enjoying life in her twilight years! I say we work on this immediately and get them what they deserve! Age is just a number isn't it? Why don't they say 80 years young instead of 80 years old? Let's get this project going! Go to your local community center and ask for the events director and let's get this party started!
